Symptoms of ectopic pregnancy appear between 5 and 8 weeks after the last menstrual period. Classic clinical findings: lower abdominal pain (groin pain), vaginal bleeding or spotting, delay in menstrual date.

Pain is felt in the groin parts, sometimes it is thought to be severe stomach pain. Pain may be felt more clearly during urination, bowel movements (during defecation).

Vaginal bleeding is usually mild or spotting. This bleeding can be confused with early miscarriage or spotting at the beginning of the pregnancy process.

Ectopic pregnancy; It can be confused with miscarriage, early normal pregnancy, appendicitis, other digestive system problems, urinary tract problems, genital infection and other gynecological problems.

In case of delayed menstruation or in cases where there is a suspicion of pregnancy, it is very important in this respect to confirm pregnancy by ultrasonography of gestational sac-yolk sac-embryo (fetal) in the uterus.
