How Can We Make Risk Assessment More Effectively During Pregnancy? 

Perinatology is the science that deals with the health of both the mother and the baby during the pregnancy period. It is a higher specialization on gynecology and obstetrics abroad. The aim is to identify risky situations during pregnancy and to plan pregnancy follow-up and necessary treatment accordingly. 

 

-Age of pregnant mother (<18 years=”” or=””>35 years) 

-Medical history of previous pregnancies (miscarriage in previous pregnancies, premature birth, gestational diabetes, pregnancy-related blood pressure, abnormal baby, etc.) 

-Medical history of the pregnant mother (pre-pregnancy diseases of the mother, previous surgeries, allergies) 

-Current state of health of the pregnant mother 

-Family medical history (genetic diseases in the family, consanguineous marriage, etc.)
