It is from the viral infection group and may give complaints within the framework of general symptoms. It is often difficult to differentiate them from general cold-flu symptoms. However, there is a possibility of transmission to the baby when passed during pregnancy. In this case, they like to settle in the blood-forming mother cells and cause the death of these cells. As a result, blood production in the baby is affected in the womb. If it is not severely affected, the situation may improve without harming the baby as this infection passes quickly. However, they quickly settle in the blood-forming main cells and cause sudden blood-making difficulties, disrupting the oxygen-carrying function of the blood cells to the tissues and cells. Thus, by disrupting the cell function in the whole body, edema and acid development can be seen.

If such a situation is suspected in the womb, the situation can be revealed by examining with Doppler ultrasonography. In case of suspicion of anemia, the umbilical cord blood level of the baby is checked in the mother’s womb, and if there is anemia, the blood cells are given to the baby from the outside at the same time, and the situation is brought under control. In the meantime, as the situation improves, Parvovirus infection passes quickly and the baby is saved from being lost in the womb.

Healthy life begins in the womb…
